Top Gear tonight – Series 19, episode 6 – is what should have been the Christmas Special with a road trip across Africa in cheap estates to find the source of the Nile. We’ve only had five episodes of series 19 of Top Gear, and it’s all but finished. All that’s left is to air what should have been the 2012 Christmas special.

Land Rover took a giant leap in New York last night, unveiling a concept car vision of the new Discovery family and announcing a partnership with Virgin Galactic. The Discovery was revealed on the deck of the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier alongside Virgin's SpaceShipTwo, the rocketship charged with making space tourism a commercial reality. Land Rover's SUVs will be the taxi of choice for budding, wealthy astronauts, attending Virgin's New Mexico base for training and space flights.
Disney Pixar has given us a third sneak-peek at the upcoming Cars 2 movie. Lighting McQueen, Tow Mater, Sally and the gang this time battle spies, international conspiracies and a host of new bad guys as they hit the circuit. Cars 2 will open June 24, 2011, and AutoWeek will be bringing you all the latest from the Disney Pixar crew leading up to the release.
